Location: The City of Moraine has 78 garden plots located on Vance Road at the end of Dorf Drive. Garden plots will be available for use starting April 1-October 31, 2021, weather dependent. A water source is available at the garden. A portable restroom is also available for your convenience. City of Moraine personnel are responsible for marking each plot and for tilling the gardens in the spring prior to the garden opening, and in the fall after the gardens have closed. If you have any questions, please call the PRC at (937) 535-1060. - Phase I: Opens March 1, 2021 and is for all 2020 plot users who cleared their garden plot at the conclusion of the growing year with no issues. We only guarantee the same garden plots that were used in Phase I, not any new garden plots. If you wish to change from your previous garden plot, you will have to wait until Phase II. - Phase II: Opens March 15, 2021 and is for any new garden plots. Registration: A plot fee of $15.00 for Moraine Residents/Business and $20.00 for Non-Residents is due for each 20’ x 90’ plot at the time of registration to confirm your plot selection. Like the classic board game that includes Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum, Mrs. Peacock, Miss Scarlett, and Rev. Green, our version of CLUE is a murder mystery game. However, instead of the usual suspects, Parks and Recreation staff are potentially guilty. The victim is the evil Dr. Covid, responsible for the pandemic and ruining play time in the park this year. See the flyer for more information on how to play and successfully solve the mystery of who did it, with what weapon, and at what location. Please visit the City's website to submit your answers by April 30th.
